RFI (Request for Information)¶
The RFI module provides a structured way to raise questions, request clarifications, and track responses related to BIM elements and project data.
Overview¶
RFIs are formal information requests that can be linked to specific elements, assigned to team members, and tracked through to resolution. Enjade supports AI-assisted responses to help answer RFIs faster.
Creating an RFI¶
- Navigate to RFI in the admin sidebar
- Click Create
- Fill in the RFI details:
- Subject - Brief summary of the question
- Description - Detailed explanation of the information needed
- Priority - Low, Medium, High, or Critical
- Assigned To - Team member responsible for answering
- Element IDs (optional) - Link the RFI to specific BIM elements
RFI Statuses¶
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Open | Newly created, awaiting response |
| In Progress | Being worked on by assignee |
| Answered | Response provided |
| Closed | RFI resolved and closed |
AI-Assisted Responses¶
Enjade can generate suggested responses using AI (when configured). AI suggestions appear alongside the RFI and can be reviewed, edited, and accepted by the assignee.
