Digital Product Passports (DPP)

Enjade supports Digital Product Passports to help meet upcoming EU regulatory requirements for construction products.

Overview

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) system in Enjade consists of three components:

  1. Product Data Templates (PDT) — Define what data is required for each product type
  2. Reference Documents — Link supporting documentation and standards
  3. Product Data Sheets (PDS) — The actual product data per element

Product Data Templates

Managing Templates

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel > PDT Templates
  2. Create templates with versioning support
  3. Define required fields, units, and validation rules
  4. Map templates to classification systems

Template Fields

Each template defines:

  • Field name: The property to be collected
  • Data type: Text, number, date, boolean, etc.
  • Unit: Measurement unit (with standardization)
  • Required: Whether the field must be filled
  • Validation: Rules for acceptable values

Reference Documents

Link supporting documentation to templates:

  • Standards references (EN, ISO, DIN)
  • Manufacturer datasheets
  • Test certificates
  • Declarations of performance

Product Data Sheets

Product Data Sheets are created per element or element type:

  1. Select elements in the DataGrid
  2. Click Create PDS
  3. Select the applicable PDT template
